The sirens are recieving on the Sargent County Repeater Frequency. The transmit frequency of the repeater channel (5) is the same as the transmit and recieve  frequency of the talk around (6) channel.  If you are within a mile of your siren box, the portable will probably reach it on channel 6 and you will be able to trip the siren. If you are not in range of it, turn to channel 5 and go through the repeater. To ensure the best range, hold the portable straight up and down and away from obstructions.
